Approved by the State Economic and Trade Commission, and headquarters is in Harbin Economic Development Zone, Heilongjiang Agriculture Co., Ltd. was founded by Heilongjiang Beidahuang Group.

     Under its management, there are 16 agriculture branch companies and Haolianghe Fertilizer Company. It is also the parent and shareholder of Beidahuang Grains Co., Ltd., Harbin Longken Malt Co., Ltd. and Beidahuang Papermaking Co., Ltd..

     The Company has a land operation of 624,000 hectares, with the total grain output of 3.215 million tons in 2004. The main crops are rice, soybeans, corns, wheat and brewing barley, while the supplement crops are such characterized cash crops like red beans, kidney beans, pumpkin seeds, lucerne, TCMs and flax.

     Haolianghe Fertilizer Co., Ltd. has an annual production of 200,000 tons of carbamide and other fertilizer products. Beidahuang Grains Co., Ltd. has an annual production of 1.4 million tons of refined rice and 100,000 tons of other byproducts. The yearly writing paper production of Beidahuang Papermaking Co., Ltd. is 55,000 tons. The yearly qualified malt output of Harbin Longken Malt Co., Ltd. is 200,000 tons.
